Profile Racing Inc.成立於1968年，由Jim Alley在美國紐澤西所創立，創立初期一直是一間拉利賽車底盤改裝維修店。直到1978年Jim的兒女初次參加BMX Racing競速賽，全家進而迷上了這項運動，這也開啟了Profile進軍自行車產業的全新篇章。1979年Profile成功研發出3段式48牙鉻鉬鋼曲柄組，為現代BMX曲柄制定了明確的規格標準，至今仍廣泛於各品牌間使用。1980年間Profile持續擴大生產規模，在所有品牌皆向外尋找海外代工的趨勢之下，Profile仍堅守在美國本土，旗下大多數產品至今仍堅持100%美國製造，憑藉50年以上工業製造經驗仍不斷創新改進生產設備，至今已成為全球BMX高端花鼓及曲柄製造商中的佼佼者! 其產品可以說是BMX誕生以來最具代表性和原創性的美國本土品牌!

Profile Racing, Inc. started in early 1968 when the firm was established as a racecar chassis shop in Flemington, New Jersey by Jim Alley. Until 1978 when Jim's son & daughter had their first taste in BMX racing, the whole Alley family was immediately hooked on this sport, which led to the new page of Profile racing history. In 1979 Profile successfully developed 3-pc 48 spline drive Cr-Mo crank which set the industry standard til nowadays bmx cranks. In 1980s, profile continued to extend their production capability, committed to 100% American made processes and create highest quality and state of art products available. Until now, Profile stands for the high quality hubs & crankset supplier of all time, and is well respect by riders who are after top of the line parts.
